A LITTLE ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

We’re a simple, sometimes chaotic, busy family doing our best to bring awareness to autism. Most days, we’re just getting by—but we wouldn’t trade our life for anything. Our days are filled with school, work, OT appointments, and the many roles we hold as parents, grandparents, and friends to the people in our community.

Our energy runs low sometimes, but our faith keeps us going. We choose to trust the Lord in this beautiful, challenging, meaningful journey we call life.

FAMILY

John and I are the proud parents of Madison, Austin, and Adilynn. Our family has grown in the most wonderful ways—Bailey is married to Madison, and Rachel is married to Austin. We’re also blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Neely Jane and Reese Elaine, who add endless joy and laughter to our lives.

Our family enjoys anything that brings us together: days at the beach, sports, hunting, swimming, cookouts, holidays, and cozy conversations on the couch.
